  3.      While Class-1 fax has been standardized by CCITT (now has a new name),

  5. Class-2  fax is not standardized. Soon there will be a standard,  and  from

  7. that  point on all Class-2 modems will report 0, 2, 2.0 with the 2.0  being

  9. the CCITT standard. Until then software and modems will not be  'perfectly'
  10.  
  11. compatible,  so you can experience problems occasionally which neither  the
  12.  
  13. modem Mfr or software vendor may be able to fix.                BTW: Class-
  14.  
  15. 0 is No-Class-Fax or DATA mode.
